Dr. Morren is a native of Texas and grew up only a few hours away in Dallas. He knew he wanted to one day work in dentistry all the way back in the 6th grade after having a wonderful, transformative experience with his childhood orthodontist. He loved his new-found confidence and wanted to be able to provide similar positive experiences for his own patients.
After attending Texas Tech University for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Morren attended the University of Texas School of Dentistry at the Houston Health Science Center, where he met his wife. Together, they proudly graduated from dental school with their DDS degrees. Now, Dr. Morren is honored to be able to provide his patients with exceptional dental care in Austin. Dr. Morren has also undergone substantial training in smile design, implant dentistry, and Invisalign. He is committed to dedicating his time to continuing education courses so that he may provide the best care possible for his patients.
Dr. Morren’s favorite part of his job is getting to interact with his patients on a daily basis. He truly enjoys being able to develop trusting relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable in his care. He feels rewarded when his patients who may be nervous or skeptical about visiting the dentist put their trust in him and he is able to deliver on his word to provide an exceptional and comfortable experience.
Outside of the office, Dr. Morren can probably be found playing golf or watching football as he is a huge sports fan. Also, Dr. Morren and his wife are self-proclaimed “foodies!” Together, they enjoy trying all the new restaurants that Austin has to offer. Dr. Morren and his wife also make trips to Colorado when they can for outdoor hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. They love being outdoors and like to get out on the water whenever they get the chance, whether it is floating down the Guadalupe River, paddle boarding on Lake Austin, or hanging out on a boat on Lake Travis. Born and raised right here in Austin, TX, Dr. Rachel Morren always knew she had an interest in helping people through healthcare. Her eyes were opened to the field of dentistry during her undergraduate years when she had the opportunity to attend various dental mission trips to Central America which solidified her passion.
Dr. Morren prides herself on her meticulous attention to detail and values the importance of transparency and education in patient care. Dr. Morren completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, and then earned her doctorate in dental surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she met her husband, Dr. Bonner Morren. Combining her degree in nutritional sciences with her doctorate in dental surgery, Dr. Morren practices with an emphasis on understanding the connection between oral health and systemic health and wellness in comprehensive treatment planning. Developing meaningful relationships with her patients is something she considers to be one of the best parts of her job. Dr. Morren prides herself on being able to treat anxious patients and is constantly striving to shift the mentality behind the dreaded dental visit to instead be an experience patients enjoy and look forward to.
Dr. Morren’s focus on lifelong learning allows her to master the latest advancements in both cosmetic and general dentistry through her various continuing education courses and memberships in professional organizations.
The Drs. Morren recently welcomed their first baby, Miles, in August of 2022. Big brother Gus (yellow lab) is a big fan of the new addition. In her spare time, Dr. Morren loves to cook, take pilates classes, and explore the great outdoors with her family. As an avid foodie, Dr. Morren loves to test out Austin’s newest restaurants.

Originally from the St. Louis, Missouri area, Dr. Mink completed her undergraduate education at the University of Missouri-Columbia where she graduated Cum Laude with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. While in college, Dr. Mink was able to maintain her grades while staying involved in various organizations. Her involvement in the Global Medical Brigades brought her to the field of Dentistry where she fell in love with the profession. It was in Nicaragua that she was able to help hundreds of patients restore their confidence in themselves and give them the ability to smile again. Since that trip to Nicaragua, Dr. Mink has devoted herself to serving others.
Dr. Mink proceeded to get her doctorate from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry where she excelled as one of the top students of her class. While in dental school, she continued her love for service through involving herself in organizations such as Give Kids a Smile, Missouri Mission of Mercy, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Dr. Mink was also active in the American Student Dental Association.
Dr. Mink considers her patients to be like family and it is her mission to help them feel confident in who they are by giving them their best smile. She strives to always deliver excellence with compassion and warmth.
Dr. Mink’s love for adventure and challenge brought her to Texas following dental school, where she found herself right at home (and much warmer than in Missouri). A fitness enthusiast and food lover, she has found so many things to love about Texas. When not serving others, she enjoys traveling, exercising and exploring new hobbies. Her newest hobbies include scuba diving, and learning to speak Spanish. She has a huge heart for animals especially for her fur baby Tilly, who she loves to spoil.
